Tuesday Thingers is hosted each week by Marie at Boston Bibliophile, and here’s this week’s question:
LT Things- t-shirts, bags,cue cats- are you into the “stuff”? Do you use a cuecat to enter your books, or do you enter them manually? What do you think of the stuff?
I love the stuff. If I could buy all the stuff, I would. As it is, I’ve only got the CueCat (and actually, that hasn’t arrived in the mail yet). I…probably don’t need the CueCat, but after spending 45 minutes entering books into my collection after a massive FOTL book sale haul, I wanted to have the option to scan them in rather than go through all that typing again.

Thank you so much for the lovely comment! Yes, I designed my own header (just banged it out in Photoshop), though the layout is a regular free WordPress one.

The Cue-cat is the only LT “thing” I’ve bought, and it was great for entering all our newer books with barcodes. I don’t use it so much now, but I still think it was a good buy (and yes, very cute).

I have the cue cat and I love it. It’s definitely handy for entering large amounts of books.
The other LT stuff doesn’t really interest me. The messenger bag is nice, but I bought one from my local library instead.

I don’t own anything LT except my membership, but I think a t-shirt would be fun. The cue cat is cute, but I don’t think I bring home enough books to make it worth my while at this point.

I don’t have any LT stuff. I guess I avoid branded “stuff” usually. The cue cat would be useful if I were entering a lot of books — have fun when you get it!
