Mailbox Monday is hosted by Marcia of The Printed Page. Check out her blog for this week’s MM post and to see what other bloggers got in the mail.
A happy week in book land, as my Barnes and Noble discount-books spree from December finally all came in. I got the following 13 books (that number makes me only slightly nervous):
(Trying something new this week. Trying to be more visually stimulating! Better? Worse?)

I hadn’t heard of Benny and Omar, but it sounds good.
Nice little haul you have there!!

I started a blog for all things non-american and this is what I got (Shooting Stars List on other blog)

Wow! You got quite a haul! Several of your books look good to me.
I like the book-montage and think it looks very good. Only thing which would “upset” me is the uneven number of books, leaving a single book hanging by itself. I don’t know why I feel that way…I also HATE it when a book cover doesn’t exist for a book I put into GoodReads or Shelfari. Just messes the whole thing up, I think
Weird. I know. But generally I like the montage with all the covers. And it looks like there are some interesting reads among them.
ShootingStarsMag and bermudaonion: Thank you for your kind comments!
I’ll have a lot of fun reading them, for sure.
Louise: I know! That bothers me too, but I tried it several other ways and it looked just as weird. Maybe I’ll center them, so it’s not sitting on the end like that.
Nice list – looks like you did very well! I have SilverFin in my TBR, and the Septimus Heap series is great. There are some interesting books in your list I’ll have to go investigate, too! And I like the layout of the bookcovers!
Belle: Thanks so much!
I really wanna read the Septimus Heap book, except, uh, I don’t have #1. Whoops!
Great week! I just love some of those covers. Happy Reading!
