Though some of the plot turns were predictable, as you said, I still found all of the characters fun and diffrent. Some authors seem to get stuck in a rut when it comes to differintiating their characters but Westerfield seems to know what he's doing. I was particularly fond of Peeps though; finally a new take on the vampire speel. I really ended up liking these books too!
