I enjoyed the Midnighters series, too. I finished all 3 books in about a week. The characters are believable and the storyline moves along at a good pace. Check out my review! I have not read Peeps or Uglies yet, so I still need to check them out.

I really ended up liking these books too! Though some of the plot turns were predictable, as you said, I still found all of the characters fun and diffrent. Some authors seem to get stuck in a rut when it comes to differintiating their characters but Westerfield seems to know what he's doing. I was particularly fond of Peeps though; finally a new take on the vampire speel.
