Charming is exactly the right word for this book. I'm not usually a 'cozy' mystery person, but this one was delightful.

I tried reading the second book in the series and wasn't quite getting into it as much as the first and didn't end of finishing it.

This sounds like so much fun. Picky about my cozy mysteries but Southern kookiness and family drama make it sound like it's got a great mix.

Sounds fun! I always wonder how much I will identify with Southernness in books set in Virginia, given that I'm from the Deep South.
